2014 Community Policing Development (CPD) and Collaborative Reform Now Open

The COPS Office is pleased to announce that the FY 2014 COPS Community Policing Development (CPD) Program is now open and accepting applications. The solicitation closes on June 23, 2014 at 7:59 p.m. EDT.

The 2014 CPD Program will fund projects related to the following topic areas:

  1. Microgrants Initiative, enhanced and expanded for FY 2014;
  2. Microgrants Initiative Coordinator to support and facilitate the Microgrants Initiative;
  3. Critical Response Technical Assistance;
  4. COPS Office Community Policing Issues Forums;
  5. Using Community Policing to Combat Violent Extremism;
  6. Minority Youth Violence Prevention (MYVP) Site Coordinator and Evaluator;
  7. COPS Office Community Policing Development (CPD) Continuation Funding; and
  8. Tribal Training and Technical Assistance.

The COPS Office is pleased to announce that the FY 2014 COPS Collaborative Reform Initiative for Technical Assistance (CRI-TA) is open and accepting applications beginning May 21, 2014.

The 2014 CRI-TA Program will fund projects related to the following topic areas:

  1. Assessment and Technical Assistance to Law Enforcement (Multiple awards up to $1,125,000 each);
  2. Program Evaluation of the Collaborative Reform Initiative for Technical Assistance (One award up to $500,000).
