The COPS Office Training Portal is now open to law enforcement professionals and community partners!

The Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS Office) launched the portal to provide law enforcement officials and community partners with access to interactive online training and to provide a variety of multi-media community policing resources at no cost.

The Portal is offering the five following courses:

  • Applied Evidence-Based Policing Practices: Homicide and Violent Crime Reduction
  • Community Policing Defined
  • Ethical Decision Making: Policing with Principled Insight
  • New Perspectives on Community Policing
  • Tactical Community Policing for Homeland Security

New trainings will continually be added to the Portal on topics ranging from procedural justice, Tribal policing, and crime prevention, to asset forfeiture. Users will be able to create an account on the Portal, earn and maintain training certificates, and discover a number of related resources offered by the COPS Office.

Check out the Portal now!
