Announcing the Winners of the COPS Office’s 2026 Photo Contest!

Earlier this year, the COPS Office announced the winners of our widely anticipated annual photo contest! For contest year 2026, the contest debuted under a new name—Uplifting the Image: Highlighting Heroes—reflecting our continued commitment to recognizing the important work of law enforcement officers in communities across the country. The contest not only allows individual agencies to gain much-needed recognition for our nation’s law enforcement heroes but also gives the COPS Office an opportunity to showcase powerful images that capture positive interactions in policing.
We are so grateful to all the agencies that submitted spirited images of policing in action to this contest.
