The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), with the support of the COPS Office, recently updated and added new resources to the Discover Policing website. DiscoverPolicing.org is an award-winning website with comprehensive information on law enforcement careers, a full-service career center, virtual ride-alongs, online self-assessments, and more. The IACP recently developed a series of factsheets and podcasts for law enforcement leaders to use as educational tools to help communities better understand the roles and responsibilities of law enforcement officers. The factsheets cover body-worn cameras, opioid response, equipment, and public information, as well as basic information on law enforcement units, ranks, and agency types. The podcast series features interviews with subject matter experts on the latest hot topics in public safety: body-worn cameras, public recording of police, public demonstrations, drones, and forensics. Find these resources and more at DiscoverPolicing.org.
