COPS Office leadership and staff will be attending the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Officer Safety & Wellness Conference from March 1–3, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Law enforcement professionals will have the opportunity to learn from experts in the field about resources and best practices to develop and implement officer safety and wellness strategies. The three-day conference is jam-packed with presentations and discussions featuring experts on the following topics:

On March 2, join the Curbing Compassion Fatigue: Skills for Building Empathy and Wellness presentation, hosted by Jared Seide, the Center for Council’s Executive Director, and Deborah Spence, the COPS Office’s Assistant Director for Training and Partner Engagement, to learn about the intersectionality of wellness, procedural justice, and community building.
