The COPS Office is excited to announce the winners of the 5th Annual Community Policing in Action Photo Contest!

Since 2014, the COPS Office has called on state, local, territorial, and tribal law enforcement agencies to participate in the Community Policing in Action Photo Contest. This year’s flood of submissions captured many thoughtful moments in which dedicated officers were seen actively engaging with the communities they serve. We are grateful to all the agencies that participated as the spirited and creative submissions made the selection process as difficult as ever.

Each photo will be featured on the COPS Office website and Twitter and Facebook headers for one month during 2019. The winning law enforcement agencies will also be featured in an article in the Community Policing Dispatch e-newsletter.

Congratulations to our winners and thank you again to all the agencies that participated. These photos invite us to appreciate the often unseen extra effort that law enforcements officers make every day in communities across the country.
