The Community Policing Dispatch is the award-winning e-newsletter of the COPS Office. Produced monthly since 2007, the Dispatch has been advancing the COPS Office mission by educating its readers about issues pertaining to the implementation and practice of community policing. The Dispatch publishes a wide range of articles, but its primary aim is to showcase best practices in implementing community policing and give readers the opportunity to learn from their peers.
The Dispatch has twice been honored by the National Association of Government Communicators, with Gold Screen awards for outstanding e-Newsletter (2009) and Web Article (2010). It is published on the COPS Office website at www.cops.usdoj.gov/html/dispatch/index.html.
