Community Policing Dispatch Wins National Award
The editors of the Community Policing Dispatch are proud to announce that the Dispatch has won a National Association of Government Communicators’ (NAGC) Blue Pencil & Gold Screen award for outstanding E-Newsletter.
NAGC is a national not-for-profit professional network of federal, state, and local government employees who disseminate information within and outside of government. Members include editors, writers, graphic artists, video professionals, broadcasters, photographers, information specialist, and spokespersons.
The Blue Pencil & Gold Screen award ceremony took place in Orlando, Florida, on April 22, 2009. Dispatch Managing Editor Esteban Hernandez was present to collect the award on behalf of the editorial team.
We also commend Sandra Sharpe, a member of our production staff, who won a Blue Pencil & Gold Screen Award of Excellence for her overall design portfolio.
