Every day, loyal and dedicated law enforcement officers perform exceptional acts of bravery while protecting the public they serve.  To honor these acts of bravery, Congress established the Congressional Badge of Bravery.  The Attorney General of the United States makes the awards, which are then presented by the recipients’ Representative in Congress.
